Rare Book Room 1876 edition: 23.6 x 17 cm. The printer's imprint is on the title page verso. The volume is bound in brown morocco over boards, with the half-title as part of a design stamped in gilt on the front cover and in black on the back cover. The spine has the half-title and author stamped in gilt, and bears the illegible remnants of a black horizontal label. The front flyleaf bears the manuscript ownership note, "William J. Vincent, St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, January 19th, 1877."
