Library Journal Review

According to the authors, both French physicians, homeopathy is more effective than orthodox medicine at treating 80 percent of most illnesses. The doctors discuss their approach to medicine, providing a background for their preferences. They also explain both strengths and limitations of alternative methods. Writing for the general reader, they present theory, philosophical orientation, case studies, and remedies, information similar to that found in Michael Weiner and Kathleen Goss's The Complete Book of Homeopathy ( LJ 4/1/89). In this book, however, more emphasis is placed on medical experience. Recommended for large health collections.-- Marilyn Rosenthal, Nassau Community Coll. Lib., Garden City, N.Y. (c) Copyright 2010.
