Booklist Review

"Don't `think about it tomorrow'; turn the page today," urges the gushy, fan-mag style intro to another (gushy, fan-mag style) fiftieth anniversary memento of Hollywood's greatest hit. Margaret Mitchell's novel is mentioned, but far more of Bartel's trivial disclosures concern the movie. Hardened buffs probably know most of this stuff already, but true fans that they are, they'll welcome hearing it all over again--and again, for Bartel and redundancy are well acquainted. Like any good trivia book, Bartel's features quizzes, and a thorough index ensures reference value. Bibliography. --Ray Olson
