Booklist Review

Though the name Kate Greenaway might be better known in Europe than in the U.S., her simple, idyllic vision of childhood is certainly a recognizable one. And with excellent color photographs, a larger-than-normal type size, and easy-to-follow charts, Hasler is guaranteeing that her cross-stitch adaptations of Greenaway style will soon find their way into American homes. A well-executed, reader-considerate design book with projects that can last well after childhood has ended. Bibliography; index. --Barbara Jacobs
