Library Journal Review

Brinnin, a budding bard, linked up with Thomas when the great Welsh poet first came to America in the early 1950s for a series of readings and lectures. The two became friends, and Brinnin eventually followed him back to Wales, visiting Thomas both there and in London, which offered a different side of his flamboyant, boozy character. Brinnin discourses on his myriad experiences with Thomas in this 1956 volume. This edition sports a new intro by scholar Drew Milne. (c) Copyright 2010.
