Rare Book Room first edition: 33.7 x 26 cm. The printer's imprint, "The Wenborne-Sumner Co., Printers and Book Binders," is at the bottom of the title page. The volume is bound in brown cloth manufactured to resemble morocco over boards, with the title, "Architectural Portfolio," as a part of an engraved design and with the firm name in gilt on the front cover; the gilt is now partially worn off. The back cover and spine are blank. The endpapers are in a branch and leaf pattern, printed in green on tan paper. The title and introduction pages, photographic plates, and pages of advertising are on plain white machined paper, now slightly yellowed and somewhat brittle. The title page carries the full title, author, publisher, and date and place of publication.
