Summary:
This three-disc set the season features the premiere episodes of each of the first five seasons of Sesame Street. Each is available as a complete episode or as highlights, and is preceded by a new animated introduction, and by a disclaimer that "these early Sesame Street episodes are intended for grownups and may not suit the needs of today's preschool child." There are four slight alterations to the episodes because of rights issues, which are otherwise complete as originally aired. Episodes include Show 1 that aired on November 10, 1969; Show 131, airdate November 9, 1970; Show 276 from November 8, 1971; Show 406 on November 27, 1972, and Show 536 from November 19, 1973.
