Summary:
In Werner Herzogs Remake des Vampirklassikers von F.W. Murnau, Jonathan Harker erhält von Wismar den Auftrag, ins ferne Transsylvanien zu reisen. Dort interessiert sich Graf Dracula für den Kauf eines Hauses in der Hansestadt. Er ahnt nicht, welches Grauen ihn erwartet.
In Herzog's hommage to F. W. Murnau's 1922 silent classic, Jonathan Harker, against the wishes of his wife, departs on a journey over the Carpathian Mountains to Transylvania in order to finalize a real estate arrangements with Count Dracula, leading to a series of tragic events.
