Summary

Summary

A rebellious suburban mother forges an unlikely bond with a wheelchair-bound teen that gives them both hope for a better life in this comedy-drama starring Juliette Lewis. These days Kelly (Lewis) may spend most of her time changing diapers, but it wasn't long ago that she was a Riot Girl who could rock with the best of them. When Kelly first meets her impulsive teenage neighbor Cal (Jonny Weston), she isn't quite sure what to make of his penchant for speaking without thinking, or his bitterness over being confined to a wheelchair. But sometimes fate has a way of bringing us precisely what we need exactly when we least expect it, and the closer that Kelly and Cal grow, the more they both begin to realize that they both still have a shot at living the lives they once thought had slipped away. Cybill Shepherd and Alysia Reiner co-star. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
