MELISSA D'ARABIAN was a corporate finance executive before becoming the host of Food Network's Ten Dollar Dinners and Cooking Channel's Drop 5 Lbs with Good Housekeeping , and launching the new Food Network web series The Picky Eaters in fall 2013. She has a political science degree from the University of Vermont and an MBA from Georgetown University. She lives with her family in San Diego.
