Reviews 1

School Library Journal Review

PreS-Milo and his stuffed bear Millie embark on an imaginative bathtime adventure, accompanied by a paper boat folded from a map of Tasmania. They sail past a building-block city, encounter giant frogs, and brave a swirling whirlpool-all before bedtime. The watercolor, pencil, and collage illustrations are lovely, with soft edges, a rosy-cheeked boy, and a floppy teddy bear. The delightfully spare text narrates the action with fewer than 10 words per page, perfect for easing a toddler into bed. This gentle book will be excellent for sharing one-on-one or with small groups, and includes instructions for folding a paper boat.-Martha Link Yesowitch, Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, NC (c) Copyright 2014.
