Araceli is the live-in maid at the residence of the prominent Torres-Thompson family and one of three Mexican employees on the premises. However, she is the last employee standing when the recession takes its toll on the family's resources. One day, Araceli awakes to find the house abandoned, except for the two Torres-Thompson boys. With the boys' parents unreachable, it's up to Araceli to care for them.
