Summary:
Set in the Northern Scottish town of Lochdubh, the second series of Hamish Macbeth has all the elements we have come to know and love from the programme - humour, drama and brilliant performances from the whole cast. Robert Carlyle (The Full Monty) shines as Hamish Macbeth, the police constable with a knack for attracting trouble. Although he is looking for a quiet life in this much-loved coastal town, peace and quiet are the last things he'll get. This series has many poignant moments, often juxtaposed with the comedy we have come to know and expect. This combined with the sheer quality of the script writing and production values genuinely sets Hamish Macbeth apart from its many imitators.
