Summary:
Features two sagas that examine quests for the Northwest Passage by 19th and 20th century explorers. Describes how Sir John Franklin led an unsuccessful expedition searching for an Arctic sea route, the mystery surrounding his disappearance, and how, a half-century later, Roald Amundsen attempted the same expedition. Examines the success of Amundsen's voyage due to the help he received from the Inuit people of Northern Canada.
