Callie Valentine's daily routine at the Eternal Rest Funeral Home is disrupted when the corpse of prominent local physician Dr. Leonard Laton goes missing. With the questionable help of her cousin Lovie, hound dog Elvis, and ex-husband Jack, she tracks the body to a freezer in Las Vegas owned by his showgirl mistress Bubble, who soon ends up dead herself.
