Summary:
HMS Pinafore: Ralph Rackstraw, a humble sailor, is smitten with the captain's daughter, Josephine, a woman far above his social rank. When Josephine declares her love for Ralph, the couple decide to elope. Their plans are thwarted, but the lovers are reunited when Ralph's true social position is revealed. Trial by jury: Jurors and reporters gather in a courtroom for a much-publicized case wherein Angelina, the plaintiff, is suing Edwin for breech of promise of marriage. After hearing their cases, the judge proposes a novel solution-- he will marry the plaintiff himself-- to which all sides heartily agree.
