Detectives Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler are joined by detectives John Munch and Fin Tutuola, Dr. George Wong and ADA Alex Cabot. These detectives, who work in a special unit of the police department known as the Special Victims Unit, work the sexually based crimes such as rape, torture, paedophilia and child-abuse.
