Cate Fante's new job as a federal judge is proving exceedingly dangerous. After dismissing an intellectual property case, Cate winds up the possible next victim of a killer presumed to be involved with that case. And, in addition to the dangers that Cate faces due to her profession, she makes some potentially hazardous decisions in relation to her personal life.
