Set consists of three 3-ring binders with plastic sleeves (140 sleeves total). Each sleeve contains two sheets of newspaper clippings. Many clippings are not dated; those that are have either 1861 or 1862, with one dated 1833 and one 1852. Clippings are from publications such as the Atlantic Monthly, the New York Evening Post, The Independent, Vanity Fair, Boston Recorder, N.Y. Sunday Mercury and others.
