Travolta. The Zapp method of clothing construction involves taking very precise measurements as many as 46 different ones depending on the garment and using them to customize any commercial pattern for an exact fit. Here, she also explores making lined vests and sleeveless tops, tailored shirts (including the Western shirts that are her specialty), and a pants pattern from ready-to-wear pants without cutting them apart. Rich illustrations and clear, step-by-step instructions make this an outstanding choice for all sewing collections. (c) Copyright 2010.
