Library Journal Review

When the Fellowship of Jair conquers the kingdom of Morenia, Rani Trader-an artisan of the Glasswrights' Guild-flees the country with King Halaravilli in a desperate search for allies. As Rani meets with friends and enemies from her past, she has to decide whom to trust and who might betray her king. Klasky's fifth installment in the "Glasswrights'" series (e.g., The Glasswrights' Journeyman) brings events to a suspenseful conclusion that opens the doors for future volumes. A good choice for adult and YA fantasy collections. [Law librarian Klasky was profiled in "Shelf Life: Librarians Who Write," LJ 2/15/04.-Ed.] (c) Copyright 2010.
