Summary

Summary

A series of crimes is linked by one common denominator! None of the surveillance cameras reveals the assailant. It's tough to catch a killer you can't see. This is the third book in the Chase Dagger Series.

Library Journal Review

P.I. Chase Dagger (The Good Die Twice) has laid low during partner Sara's unexplained two-month, shape-shifting absence. Now, she just as suddenly reappears, and the togetherness is awkward. A new case arrives-a series of strange robberies-that pulls them together, especially after Sara gets a date with the prime suspect, a slippery purveyor of doctored-up surveillance systems. More important, though, is the potentially lethal reaction of a satellite-mapping company when Chase's hacker friend penetrates its firewall. Conversation carries most of the story forward, with sketchy Indiana and Lake Michigan locales bringing intermittent relief. A quick read for undemanding readers and fans of paranormal fiction.
