Summary

Summary

With both originals like "Mommy & Me" and "Take My Hand" and traditional favorites like "Skip to My Lou," "B-I-N-G-O," and "The Itsy Bitsy Spider," Concord's Mommy and Me: Playgroup Favorites is a nice collection for the young child and his or her parents to listen to together. The first 17 tracks all have vocals (though there are three versions of "Take My Hand" and two of "Mommy & Me"), while the last 14 are instrumental only, meant to be the accompaniment to a singalong. The music itself is bright and engaging, with both adult and children's voices, making the album an appropriate and fun selection of music. ~ Marisa Brown
