Joseph Nathan Kane is one of the foremost researchers in the field of American history. In the course of writing over thirty books and hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles, he has made countless trips around the country in search of original records. Well known for his own national radio show, "Famous Facts," he was also for many years the research authority for such quiz shows as "Break the Bank," "Double or Nothing," and "The $64,000 Question." Mr. Kane lives and works in New York City. He has lectured extensively on American history
