A New York Times Bestselling AuthorIt was magic and illusions. So lion trainer Jo told Keane, the new owner of the circus. Night after night he watched her fearlessly enter the lions' cage. Why couldn't he see how her heart did cartwheels at the very sight of him, and that for her the greatest wonder of them all was when he held her in his arms?

Booklist Review

If Keane Prescott, the new owner of Prescott's Circus Colossus, thinks he can just march into his late father's business, crack a whip, and Jo Wilder will immediately fall into line, he is out of his mind. Not only did Jo practically grow up in the circus; she spent the last decade of her life perfecting her lion-taming act. Since Jo deftly controls large mammals, convincing Keane to keep the circus in business should be easy . . . though none of the big cats Jo has worked with has ever kissed her like Keane just did. Romance readers who have dreamed of running away to join the circus will fall in love with this early, engaging tale about passion under the big top by future superstar Roberts.--Charles, John Copyright 2017 Booklist
