Summary:
Missouri, 1874, sees the town of Defiance over-run by outlaws. When a boy's father is slain by the town's most powerful man because he's not willing to pay his dues, he devotes his life to avenging his father's death. Years later he becomes swept up in a vicious cycle of revenge and must sacrifice everything he has to protect himself and his family when a bounty is put on his brother's head for a crime he did not commit.
