Library Journal Review

Aubrey, student of the master shapechanger Glyrenden, desires to perfect his own magical skills but realizes that there are some things more important than knowledge. Shinn's luminous style is well suited for this graceful tale about the transforming power of love. This first novel belongs in fantasy collections. (c) Copyright 2010.
