Materials related to his 1905 appearance include a photographic portrait, inscribed "To Miss Marian De Forest, to Mrs. Mai Davis Smith with every good wish for a great succes in their enterprise. I.J. Paderewski, Buffalo, N.Y. 15/II 1905;" a program from Paderewski's concert at Convention Hall, Feb. 15, 1905; a receipt for payment, presumably for rental of the hall. Additional photograph signed by Paderewski, "To Mr. and Mrs. Harold M. Esty / with very kindest regards of / J. I. Paderewski / 26/Xii 1920."
