Summary:
Depicts coaches and other horse-drawn vehicles pulled up in front of the Elephant & Castle, a tavern south of London on the road to Brighton, in what is now the London borough of the same name. A set of signposts at the left of the print indicates the directions to various towns south of the Thames that are now boroughs of London. The artist's name, "J. Pollard, " appears on a yellow-and-black coach just left of the center of the print.
