1820 edition : The volume is bound in brown leather over boards, now considerably cracked, with rectangular frame-shapes (16 x 7.7 cm.) of tan calf, with blindstamped curlicued borders inside and outside, inlaid in both covers. The front (actually the back, since the Arabic text reads from back to front of the volume) free endpaper bears the manuscript note, "Landrock (?) et theol."
