1693 edition : Pages 1185-1207 are missing. The volume was originally bound in brown calf over boards, of which only the front cover survives, which has a rectangular design blindstamped. The back cover is of marbled light brown morocco over a board. The spine now consists of brown and black masking tape. The half-title page bears the manuscript ownership note, "Samuel Bryant his Book 1773," and also Mr. Bryant's signature. The title page verso bears the manuscript note, "Sammawel [sic] Bryant barn [sic] november the 29," and the signature, "Mary Gnahchen (?)."
