School Library Journal Review

PreS-In this brief, rhyming text, a kitten goes outside in the snow for the first time and meets her friend Caspar. She watches in awe as the dog goes downhill on a sled with his boy. Cleo is coaxed to join them, but when they crash-land, she decides the best place to be is inside by the fire. Large, bright, full-page illustrations in acrylics with bold black outlines complement the childlike narrative, resulting in a story that's good for sharing with toddlers.-Sally R.
