Vols. I-VII: 13.8 x 8.2 cm. The printer's imprint is absent. The volumes are bound in brown boards with maroon levant spines with gilt decorations and black levant labels with the half-title, "SCOTT'S WORKS," and the volume number stamped in gilt; Vol. III's label is partly missing, and Vols. V and VII's labels are missing entirely. One of the front flyleaves in each volume bears the ownership note in pen or pencil, "J. C. Evans, 1830." Each volume has a frontispiece engraving of a scene from a poem contained therein, facing a volume title page with the title, author, publisher, and date and place of publication. Following is an overall title page with the same and also the volume number. The text pages are of plain white rag paper, bound in 24-page signatures; the top edges are darkened with long exposure.
