First edition: 20.2 x 15.2 cm. The printer's imprint, "...done into print by The Roycrofters at their shop," is in a colophon facing the last text page. The pamphlet is sewn into heavy gray paper (now rather brittle), with title and author as part of a design by Dard Hunter in white, rust red, and pale green on the front cover. The title page, also designed by Hunter, has the full title and author in black and orange ink; its verso contains copyright data. The text pages are of plain white hand-laid paper, and the chapter initials, in black and orange, are also by Hunter.
