The pamphlet is sewn in a brown paper wrapper (now somewhat brittle) with the title and author in a front cover design in green and violet. The back cover and insides of both covers have Hubbard epigrams in green and violet. The frontispiece, a photograph of the railroad's administration building, and the rear free endpaper are on white plastic-coated paper. The title page, in black and sky-blue, has the title, author, Roycroft logo, publisher-printer, place of publication, and date in Roman numerals; its verso contains copyright data. The text pages, in black and sky-blue, are of white hand-laid paper. The volume is further protected by a folder of heavy yellow paper.
