First edition: 24.5 x 20.3 cm. The printer's imprint is missing. The pamphlet and text pages are sewn in plain white rag paper, now discolored and badly torn and frayed. The title page has the title and the beginning of the text. Pages 41-42 and 45 are missing. The pamphlet is protected further by a brown paper folder, and by a slipcase quarter-bound in brown calf over red cloth over boards, with the title, "BRIEF OF ROBERT MORRIS'S TITLE TO A TRACT OF COUNTRY IN THE COUNTY OF ONTARIO IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK--THE TITLE OF THE HOLLAND LAND COMPANY," stamped horizontally in gilt on the spine.
