Specimen of intended unique item: 29.5 x 20.1 cm. The printer's imprint is at the bottom of the title page and in a colophon at the end of the text (p. [66]). The volume is bound in full navy morocco, with the title stamped in gilt on the front cover. The endpapers are marbled in maroon, pink, and red. The flyleaves (7 in front, 6 in back) and text pages are of white hand-laid paper with the Roycroft watermark. The frontispiece is a portrait photograph of Mr. Moore. The title page has the title (hand-colored in orange and green), author, publisher, Roycroft logo, place of publication, and the date in Roman numerals. The initial letters and decorations on the text pages are hand-colored; the top edges are gilt. The volume includes a bound-in bookmark of brown silk, and an inserted bookmark of vellum in a spider-web pattern.
