The volume is quarter-bound in light brown levant over tan paste paper boards; both covers and the spine are blank. The endpapers, flyleaves, and text pages are of plain white rag paper. The title page has the full title, author, printer, and date and place of publication, and bears the ownership signature, "Sarah H. Farrer," in black ink. The top of page [3] bears in pencil the same signature, and the note, "One of my father's Books."
