First edition: 15 x 10.8 cm. The printer's imprint is absent. The volume has been rebound in brown cloth over boards. The spine has stamped in gilt the title, author, and initials, "B.P.L.," of the Buffalo Public Library, whose ownership sticker is inside the front cover. Both covers are blank, and the endpapers are patterned brown on white. There is one flyleaf of plain white paper front and back. The text pags of plain white machined paper, in good condition. All the pages have been marbled in tan and blue on all edges. The overall title page and the two booklet title pages are printed in black and red ink, and have the title, author, publisher, place of publication, and date in Roman numerals; their versos hold copyright data. The overall title page bears the punched-out stencil, "BUFFALO PUBLIC LIBRARY."
