First edition: 11.8 x 7 cm. The printer's imprint, "PARSONS PRINTING CO.," is at the bottom of the front cover. The pamphlet is stapled in heavy white paper with title, author, and an engraving of an open Gothic doorway and an extended open hand, all in red ink. The front cover verso and the back cover contain advertisements in red ink. There are one flyleaf in the front and two flyleaves in the back. The text is in black ink. Inside the back cover is attached a foldout (42.5 x 27.8 cm.) "New Map of the City of Buffalo, by the Buffalo Electrotype and Engraving Co., 1893," shaded in light green, with advertisements at the borders and covering the entire back.
