The volume, in very good condition, is bound in red fabric over boards, with a stylized design blindstamped on both covers, and the title, publisher, and four illustrations are each double-bordered and stamped in gilt on the spine. The end papers are of plain white machine paper. The frontispiece and seventy other illustrations are engraved in black ink. The title page has the title, publisher, and date and place of publication. The text pages are of white laid paper.
