In red cloth over boards, with the title as part of an elaborate front cover design of water nymphs, flowers, swans, and the god Neptune, tooled in and stamped in gold, which also includes a multicolored engraving (16.1 x 9.7 cm.) inset in the center. The first plate is printed in a floral wreath design, which encloses the partially erased signature, "Emily L. Seidenberg." The verso of the frontispiece (second plate) has in its upper right corner the partially erased manuscript note, "Emily L. Seidenberg, Christmas '94;" gilt edges.
