Before John Waters married he was caught up in a steamy love affair with a slightly disturbed Mallory Candler. Out of fear it would become too consuming for him, John ended the affair. Years later, he hears that Mallory has been killed in New Orleans. However, a new woman he meets brings out memories that are only known between him and the late Mallory.
