Library Journal Review

From Tibetan Buddhists in California comes this highly accessible and largely nonsectarian presentation of basic Buddhist teachings about the Buddha, his enlightenment, the nature of enlightenment, the paths and stages of liberation, and types of perception and consciousness. According to Buddhist psychology and metaphysics, the nature of ordinary reality, human organs of perception and types of mind, consciousness, and emotion are closely tied to practical teachings. This combination of the traditional and Eastern with the contemporary and Western make this a book for a wide audience. Highly recommended. (c) Copyright 2010.
