Library Journal Review

First published in French, this book has been reworked in English by the author, who approaches needlepoint as a tapestry weaver might, working row by row and employing a separate needle for each color of wool. In addition to teaching this method of canvas embroidery, this book includes instructions for 99 different needlepoint stitches. Each stitch described includes a numbered grid indicating the order in which the needle enters and exits the canvas and a color photo. Recommended for large public libraries. (c) Copyright 2010.
