Summary

Summary

This program tours 14 of the best roller coaster rides in the United States, also giving the history of the respective amusement park attractions. Director Ned Rogers uses multiple camera angles on the rides themselves, including the rider's point of view, to make this more thrilling than a standard documentary. The DVD version allows the viewer to select from several camera angles for viewing each particular coaster. The VHS features Surround Sound, while the DVD comes with either Dolby Digital or DTS sound. Rides featured include the classic Coney Island coaster and the newer designs at Six Flags and Universal Studios. ~ Steve Blackburn, Rovi
