Author Notes

Bob Temple couldn't hit a curve ball to save his life, so he writes about the game instead of playing it. In his career as a sportwriter, he's covered baseball at every level, from Little League to the major leagues. Bob covered the Minnesota Twins as a freelance sportswriter from 1988-1995 and has written dozens of articles on baseball for magazines and newspapers across the country. He's also an avid rotisserie league player. Temple is the author of four previous Internet-related books, including Sams Teach Yourself America Online in 24 Hours. One of his five children's books is the story of Mark McGwire's career.
