Cat St. Claire, assistant manager of the Castillo de Cala hotel, buries herself in her work to take her mind off a nightmare that occurred six months ago. In one moment at a shopping mall, she had her peace of mind and security ripped from her, and she has been slowly piecing her life back together, minus her faith in God. Dominick D'Angelo knows what happened at the mall, and Cat's horror became his wake-up call to Christ. As a DEA agent, he can't afford to make a mistake. Someone who deals drugs is using the hotel as a supply point, and Cat is a suspect. Though Dominick believes that Cat is innocent, he has to prove it, and he can't say anything to Cat while he's working as temp help as a cover. This new romance from John (In the Shadow of Love; Surrender of the Heart) supplies steady interest to keep readers satisfied and is suitable for all collections. (c) Copyright 2010.
