Choice Review

Saunders, the first European woman to qualify for the US women's golf tour, and author of The Golf Handbook and others, puts her many years of experience as player and coach to good use to produce a complete instruction manual not only for beginners, but also for all those players who still have problems with their game. All aspects of golf are covered, from teeing up on the first hole to dropping the final putt on the last. Attractively printed and bound, the book contains numerous full-color photographs and illustrations to help readers perfect a consistent swing, cope with different course hazards, and much more. The glossary and an exhaustive index can prove useful to the apprentice physical educator. A welcome addition to any school's physical education library, as well as to the personal library of any serious student of the game of golf. All readership levels. H. F. Kenny Jr.; emeritus, Wesleyan University
