Summary

Summary

True Love: A Standards Collection presents Patsy Cline's pop side with a variety of classic songs like "I Love You So Much It Hurts," "You Belong to Me," "Bill Bailey, Won't You Please Come Home," and "Always," which was a Top 20 country hit. All of the tracks, recorded between 1961 and 1963, feature Owen Bradley's lush arrangements and have been digitally remastered. Though Cline's best work always had a strong pop element to it anyway, True Love: A Standards Collection is another welcome reminder that her voice still transcends musical genres. ~ Heather Phares
